Neurodegenerative Disease

Neurodegenerative disease, such as Parkinson’s, Dementia, and Alzheimer’s, are debilitating diseases that are largely feared and often have few treatment options. An ounce of prevention in this case is certainly worth a pound of cure. Even with symptoms already presenting, however, we do have several options that can be used to increase quality of life for both the patient and the family.

What can I expect?

When you come to the office, you will be thoroughly evaluated including medical history, physical exam, and necessary lab work or imaging to assist in proper diagnosis and treatment. Once all the information is in, we will discuss treatment options, risks, benefits, and expectations to address the condition at the root cause. Often a combination of short term and long term approaches are taken to not only alleviate symptoms, but to help heal at the root level to restore balance, function, and quality of life.
